Clues on the River Parrett Trail

Judy Willoughby

A lot of cider is drunk in Somerset these days but not nearly as much as was drunk in the past. Cider apple trees were planted wherever they could be. You will find old apple trees planted in places along droves and the banks of the river. Visit the Burrow Hill Cider Farm in the autumn to see traditional cider being made.

* Find this clue beside the door into the cider shed at the Burrow Hill Cider Farm.
