Clues on the River Parrett Trail

Nick Sloan.

The Parrett Works - there has been a mill on this site for at least 900 years. More recent records show that the mill was used to grind wheat into flour, process flax for linen, hemp for rope, grind tobacco for snuff and apples probably for cider making. The present owner intends to use it to generate electricity one day.
